Welcome to eMitten...
...The official website for paediatric trainees in the East Midlands region. The site is run by, and for, trainees. We hope you find it useful. If you're training in the region, the site should keep you up to date with what's going on. If you're not yet training with us, we hope you might be inspired to come and join us!
We'll aim to record the training day talks in an audio and video format for streaming - visit the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to see what's on offer. We'll also try to keep the Notice Board up to date with important information - if you have something you want trainees to know about, tell us and we'll post it here. Why not take some time to look around the new site. We know it's not perfect - if you spot problems let us know, or if you think of other useful stuff you'd like to see here, we're open to suggestions!
Education & Training Committee
There is currently the opportunity for three new trainees to join the Education & Training Committee. The Committee overseas training in our region and meets regularly to discuss, plan (and eat!). A particular strength of our region is the autonomy this Trainee Committee has over significant training funds. If you are interested in joining the Training Committee, click here.
