Child Protection Conference

On behalf of the organising committee for the above conference, I
am pleased to invite you to attend the second ‘CHILDPROTECT
- Current Issues on Child Abuse and Neglect II’ Study Day. The event is aimed
at Consultant paediatricians, paediatric trainees, as well as professionals from
several other key agencies (family law practitioners, solicitors, barristers,
child protection police officers, therapists, social care and safeguarding
social workers) and specialist nurses.
The aim of this Study Day is to offer a comprehensive overview of
child protection related issues and highlight the most recent research findings
based on systematic review and robust research methodology. We also hope to
help trainees attain confidence and competence in dealing with child protection
issues.
