The region comprises Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Lincolnshire. There are two University Medical Schools in the region and the programme prides itself on the quality of training provided. Trainees are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning and development as we hope to lay the foundations for continuing professional development. Training in East Midlands affords a number of opportunities for research, academic training, overseas experience and flexible working.
